Went over to MBS to attend PSY's mini showcase. Was checking facebook one fine day and chanced upon MBS giving away 4000 tickets. I was lucky and we managed to get two tickets:)
yeah tried to camwhore (failed).
I hate my black roots and uneven brown hair.
BUT that was 1 week ago.
I'm uber happy 'cos I have RED SMOOTH HAIR now. wheeeeeee
The dye and colour treatment is amazing. my hair is damn damn damn damn smooth now.
can't wait to show you guys.
ok. back to gangnam.
we arrived at MBS Event Plaza at about 5.30pm (Show starts at 8pm), "window-shopped" for a while and started queuing at 6.30pm (doors open at 7pm).
The stage (yes, im short)
We waited for about one and a half hours before the opening act by O School.
While waiting, we got bored and started playing with the light sticks given. Our dear A got carried away and accidentally threw his light stick and hit someone in front. -_-||| thank god that person was alright.
Opening act by OSchool, with Ryan teaching us audience the iconic horse-riding dance. After that, Jean Danker & Dominic Lau (our emcees for the night) then invited PSY up on stage. PSY sang three songs in total - two previous hit songs - Champion & Right Now, followed by Gangnam Style.
PSY did his act with his usual 101% energy. Love that energy he gives out whenever he performs. but the crowd wasn't that hyped up. even PSY himself stopped the music halfway because he thinks that we were not as hyped up as he wanted us to be. Can't blame anyone, there were too many "uncles & aunties".
The show lasted for about 20-30 mins, with 3 songs and a 4-5min talk set by PSY in between each song. The showcase was kind of short but I'm still excited and happy to see PSY+gangnam style live, and it was our first concert together. (something to commemorate lah)
(after the show), damn humid thus the cui face. arghh.
left MBS immediately after the show to escape from the 4000-people crowd and settled our dinner at Thai Express@Raffles City:) Ordered the usuals: PhadThai, Green Curry and Kway Teow Soup:)
