HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY AU & LIM!
yay! This marks two people joining the "old people" force.
Don't look at me, I'm still 20.
Had a mini get-together with the same bunch of crazy people one fine Sunday. Thanks to Mu Xing, who had everything planned out "effortlessly" for the two birthday kids.
First stop: Playnation at Prinsep Street. Didn't capture any "unglam" photos (thank you ben). We were too busy rowing "invisible" canoes, throwing darts aimlessly, sabotaging others when it is not your turn, running like mad cows in football games, and dancing to stupid moves.
Second Stop: Zara and H&M. After 4 hours of "exercising", we hopped down to Orchard Road to get presents for Anvy! Anvy wanted to get blazers so the guys decided to bring her to Zara and H&M for some massive shopping. QT, Ben, A and I had already gotten something for the woman, so we helped by deciding which is suitable for the birthday girl. In the end, the woman decided to get two blazers - one from Zara, and another from H&M.
Third Stop: Javier's Rotisserie & Salad Bar. The initial plan was to head over to Circuit Road for some local street food but the shopping took a little longer than we expected so we skipped that plan. Was contemplating on what to grab for dinner and someone (i forgot who) suggested Javier's at Cineleisure.

For most of us, it's was the first time eating at Javier's, hence, Ben & QT went on introducing how the menu works blah blah. So, there's two sections to the menu: You can order their meat & fish (eg, pork, dory, chicken, steak) with two sides, or there's the salad bar where you can grab anything you want on the given plate for one time. No, I shouldn't say grab, it should be PILE. I'm not kidding. For SGD$11.90, you will be given a big plate, and all you have to do is to keep piling food till it overflows. That's basically what A did. (Peektures!)

Although it looks like we are bingeing on food, the meal was fantastic! Love the salad bar and the greens they provide. It's a huge plate but it's still kind of healthy (re-assuring myself) with all the veges i took. A couldn't finish the entire plate so he passed it on to the rest. I gave up after eating 3/4 of it (the consequence of being greedy).

Fourth Stop: Went over to Zara at Taka to get Anvy's second blazer. The guys accompanied her while Ben QT and I head down to hunt for cakes. It was nearing 10pm, so we frantically scouted for nice &good looking cakes. Went Piquenique but it was already closed, so we decided to try our luck at the Food Mall. AND I GOT SO HAPPYYYYYY!
I didn't know Flor had a retail space in Taka! Spotted the signboard from Wow Tako and "grab" the couple over. I swear Flor has the nicest cakes. I always hated the fact that their outlet has to be so "out of the reach" and because of that, I can't settle my cravings, unless I'm near the area. Thank god they have a shop in Taka! Thank god I do not have to run to Duxton Hill anymore.
Psycho-ed Ben & QT to get the cakes from Flor and what's more, they were having closing sales, two slices of cakes for 10 bucks (CHEAP OR WHAT), instead of the usual 7+ per slice. I shall wait to 10pm everytime i have craving for their cakes. HAHAHAHA.
Quickly went up to the fountain area to prepare for the "surprise".

While the birthday kids munched on their cakes, MX took out his yakult and we started the "drink five in one go" and passed it around for fun. I think it was the koreans (?) who started the "drink five in one go" thing? I don't know, I only saw it on some random korean/taiwan drama. yea, and it became a photo taking pose. Vote for your best pose!
